Weekly Crew Update
First weekend of Dec: Coast Venture!
The 2006 Coast Venture was by far the most miserable and wet
camp I have ever been on. It rained, and the wind howled. But apart
from that, as always, a great weekend. About 10 rovers and 15
Venturers attended this lovely weekend. Arriving early Saturday I
arrived, woke up the crew by shouting at them. Then when they went
into Ulladulla for brekkie I went to the beach. (Ulladulla also now has
a Maccas and an Aldi!) So after a day of rain, digging big holes,
eating honey roasted cashews. I went to bed in my car with someone
elses sleeping bag.
In the morning... I got up, packed up and left. Damn the rain! i didnt
even get to swim it was so cold.
Oh well...
